	There are a lot of characters (evidently), most of them minor. They're listed below in levels of importance, levels which I'll probably be rearranging as time goes on, so you know which characters to pay attention to.

	ASHLEN NOR » ashlen kin / [side] » dragon / [dragon] sex » male age (apparent) » 22 height » 5'10" (1.78 m.) hair / eye color » dark brown / light blue Ashlen is young for a Shen, and idealistic. He is usually deliberate in making his decisions, and rarely impulsive. He doesn't often do things randomly. He also seems to be quite fortunate in that he hasn't screwed up on a mission yet. BACKSTORY Ashlen was recruited fairly quickly out of the Academy, despite his relative inexperience. He was assigned to various missions and did fairly well (excluding Epsy's interference), but wasn't remarkable, and surprised people by actually surviving through it all. The executive order of the Mediator, backed by her Advocate on the dragon High Council, was that Ashlen be assigned to the Sether mission, which is somewhat unusual.

	EPSILON ERIDANI » epsy kin / [side] » dragon / [dragon] sex » male age (apparent) » 26 height » 5'9" (1.75 m.) hair / eye color » dark blond / red-orange While Epsy is capable and competent, and acts, thinks, and learns quickly, he has absolutely no morals whatsoever. He gets bored easily. He doesn't often feel guilty, and rarely officially takes responsibility (that is to say, he doesn't acknowledge that he is the cause of the problem). Of course, he has larger problems than he seems to. BACKSTORY Most of Epsy's past seems to be locked up in Lory's files. Why he seems so hell-bent on killing Sariel is also a mystery.

	SARIEL SHEIAL » sariel kin / [side] » human > vampire > phoenix / [phoenix] sex » male age (apparent) » 18 height » 5'8" (1.73 m.) hair / eye color » dark blonde / blue-green Sariel doesn't have much of a sense of self-worth, and in an obscure way hates himself. He seems to be very nice and seems to really care about other people, but actually often hates them for making him have to face things. BACKSTORY Sariel was abandoned by his parents at a young age, then turned into a vampire. He wasn't much of a vampire. He joined the phoenixes because he liked their promise of salvation, and while he was working for them, something happened that gave him the power to become one of the phoenixes himself. Later on, after taking care of a small demon child (Veras Seyn), Sariel decided he hated being part of the war, but couldn't leave because he needed the pay. The circumstances of how he became one of the phoenixes is something that Epsy is responsible for, and which was hushed up by the Council for certain reasons.
